Statement IDM Supersport Finale
Tijdens de laatste wedstrijd van het IDM Supersport-kampioenschap is onze rijder, Luca De Vleeschauwer, helaas gediskwalificeerd. De reden hiervoor was een linker armversteller van Spider waarop een andere codering stond dan de officieel door Ducati Corse gehomologeerde versie. De gehomologeerde versie was echter aan het begin van het seizoen niet beschikbaar voor ons én voor de meeste andere teams in het IDM-paddock. Slechts één team beschikte wél over de juiste uitvoering. Dit betekende dat precies datzelfde team de derde plaats in het kampioenschap kon overnemen door onze diskwalificatie. Ondanks dat hun rijder zelf aangaf het hier niet mee eens te zijn, heeft het team tóch officieel protest ingediend. Wij hadden het probleem van de gebrekkige levering bovendien tijdig aangekaart bij de technische crew van de DMSB-bond. Helaas werd daar niets mee gedaan. Het gevolg is dat wij nu de dupe zijn van een leveringsprobleem waar wij en meerdere teams geen schuld aan hadden.
Wat belangrijk is om te weten:
- Het onderdeel is technisch volledig gelijk aan de gehomologeerde versie.
- Er was geen enkel prestatievoordeel te behalen.
- Het verschil zat uitsluitend in de codering, niet in de werking of veiligheid.
Wij vinden het erg jammer dat een kampioenschap op deze manier beïnvloed moet worden. Na al het harde werk van iedereen binnen ons team doet dit natuurlijk enorm veel pijn.
Wel willen we benadrukken dat er geen sprake is geweest van een poging tot vals spelen. Als team staan wij voor eerlijk racen, sportiviteit en transparantie.

IDM Supersport Final Statement
During the final race of the IDM Supersport Championship, our rider Luca De Vleeschauwer was unfortunately disqualified. The reason for this was a Spider link arm rod, which had a different coding than the homologated Ducati Corse version. Unfortunately, the homologated version was unavailable to us and other teams in the IDM Paddock at the start of the season, except for one team. They had the correct one, and that team was able to take over third place in the championship by having us disqualified. Despite their team's rider disagreeing, the team still filed a protest. Despite presenting the supply issue to the DMSB Association's technical crew, nothing was done about it, and we are now the victims.
Important to know:
- The part is technically identical to the homologated version.
- There was no performance advantage to be gained.
- The difference was solely in the coding, not in the functionality or security.
We find it deeply regrettable that a championship had to be affected in this way. After all the hard work of everyone on our team and partners, this is naturally incredibly painful.
However, we would like to emphasize that there was no attempt to cheat. As a team, we stand for fair racing, sportsmanship, and transparency.
